Prosecution Closes Its Case in Russell Brand Trial

Prosecutors have closed their case against comedian Russell Brand at Southwark Crown Court in London, after nearly two weeks of evidence. The defence was due to begin presenting its case on 28 October 2026. Brand, 51, has pleaded not guilty to three counts of rape and other sexual offences dating from 1999 to 2009.
