Serpentine to be partly funded by brands, with their products built into the story

Deadline reported on 27 October 2026 that Darren Lynn Bousman has been hired to direct Serpentine, a thriller from Dream State Studios. Per Deadline, the film will be funded partly by brands brought in by Brand in Entertainment. Their products will be built into the story from the earliest stages, a practice called product integration, rather than added later.
