Apple Announces M6 iMac From $1,499 With 10-Core CPU and GPU

Apple has announced an M6 iMac starting at $1,499. The base model pairs a 10-core CPU with a 10-core GPU, up from the 8-core CPU in the M4 iMac launched in October 2024. The enclosure is largely unchanged, and Apple skipped the M5 generation on iMac. The announcement precedes Apple's Pro and Tell event on Wednesday.
