Apple Announces M6 iMac Starting at $1,499 With 10-Core CPU and GPU

Apple has announced an iMac refresh built on the M6 chip, starting at $1,499. The base configuration has a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, up from the 8-core CPU on the M4 iMac launched in October 2024. The enclosure is largely unchanged, and Apple skipped the M5 generation on iMac. The announcement precedes Apple's Pro and Tell event on Wednesday.
