General Compute Closes $100M Series A at $800M Valuation

General Compute has raised a $100 million Series A led by Blackbird Ventures and Abstract Ventures, valuing the inference cloud operator at $800 million post-money. Inference means running trained AI models. The round follows a May seed round valued at $60 million. A $100 million annual recurring revenue customer deal preceded the raise. It builds on non-Nvidia chips.
