General Compute Raises $100M Series A at $800M Valuation

General Compute raised a $100 million Series A led by Blackbird Ventures and Abstract Ventures, valuing the inference cloud operator at $800 million post-money. The round follows the company's May seed round, when it was valued at $60 million. A $100 million annual recurring revenue customer deal preceded the round. The company builds on non-Nvidia chips.
