At Least 60 Orthodox Christians Killed in Attacks in Ethiopia's Oromia Region

At least 60 Orthodox Christians were killed in separate attacks on October 20 and 24 in Ethiopia's Oromia region, according to church officials. They reported 46 deaths in Shirka district and 14 in Merti, both in the Arsi Zone. Over 20 were seriously injured and 20 homes burned, the church's holy synod said. Regional authorities pledged to pursue those responsible.
