India Moves Tens of Thousands Ahead of Cyclone Arnab Landfall
Cyclone Arnab, classed as a "very severe" cyclonic storm by India's weather agency, is forecast to reach land Wednesday morning between Bapatla and Visakhapatnam. Nearly 50,000 people in Andhra Pradesh had been moved to shelters by Monday night, and Odisha plans to evacuate 48,000. More than 12 million people live along the projected path, state authorities said.
