Netflix hires Steve Wilson, former Apple Podcasts marketing chief, to lead podcast acquisitions

Netflix has hired Steve Wilson, formerly head of marketing for Apple Podcasts, to lead its podcast content acquisitions, the work of finding and buying shows, Variety reported on 27 October 2026. Wilson will work on a contract basis. Netflix offers more than 60 video podcasts, according to Variety.
