Private sector got 80% of rise in public health funding, report says

The private sector received $2.4 billion, about 80%, of the $3 billion rise in public health funding over the past three years, according to a report published 26 October by Public Futures Aotearoa, a coalition that includes the unions NZNO, ASMS and PSA. Publicly delivered healthcare through Health NZ and ACC rose by $600 million over the same period.
