More than 90 Labour backbench MPs, who sit outside the cabinet, urge Prime Minister Andy Burnham to drive reindustrialisation (rebuilding manufacturing) from No 10 North, his Manchester office, according to a briefing paper seen by The Guardian. The group is chaired by Andy MacNae. The paper does not say how its proposals would be funded.
