England's senior doctors plan two-day strike from 25 November

Senior doctors in England, known as consultants, plan a two-day strike starting 6:59am on 25 November, the British Medical Association (BMA), the doctors' union, said. Only emergency cover, meaning care for urgent cases, would be provided during the walkout. More than three-quarters of consultants voting in the BMA ballot backed strike action.
