Canada's NDP leader proposes BioWare staff buy back studio with federal support

Avi Lewis, leader of Canada's New Democratic Party (NDP), says BioWare's developers should get the first chance to buy the studio and run it themselves, with federal support. This is a proposal; no buyer has been named. Electronic Arts closed BioWare, the Mass Effect developer, and wider cuts cost 400 employees their jobs. Lewis blamed private equity.
