Former Leeds rugby league player Sir Kevin Sinfield knighted

Sir Kevin Sinfield, the former Leeds rugby league player, has been knighted, a national honour conferred by the sovereign. In January 2024 he received a CBE, Commander of the Order of the British Empire, alongside Rob Burrow. Prince William told BBC Breakfast that giving the knighthood was "probably one of the easiest decisions anyone's ever had to make."
