Louvre to close Saturday, October 24, over planned Paris protests

The Louvre in Paris will close on Saturday, October 24, 2026, because of planned protests in the city, the museum said on its official website. The Musée d'Orsay, the Picasso Museum and Fondation Louis Vuitton are also closing. ArtNews reported that Art Basel Paris at the Grand Palais was cancelled over the weekend.
