Pentagon file describes black triangle object at 1,800 mph over western U.S. site

Two senior military observers reported watching a black, triangle-shaped object fly over a sensitive site in the western U.S. earlier in 2026, according to a Pentagon file released October 23. They estimated its speed at 1,800 mph. They said it vanished silently within seconds, leaving no exhaust trail. The site is redacted. Officials label the files "unresolved."
