St Helens sign NRL hooker Tom Starling on three-year deal

St Helens have signed Canberra Raiders hooker Tom Starling, 28, on a three-year contract, BBC Sport reports. The hooker, who passes the ball back into play after each tackle, joins ahead of the 2027 Super League season. Saints finished seventh in 2026 and missed the play-offs for the first time. Starling is their fourth close-season signing.
