Greece Passes Law Banning Social Media for Under-15s From January 2027

Greece's parliament has passed a law banning social media use by people under 15, set to take effect January 1, 2027. Social networks must verify users' ages, and companies that fail to comply face penalties. The opposition party PASOK abstained, having sought a bill banning under-13s instead.
