Netflix cuts about 1,000 jobs, around 6% of its workforce

Netflix has cut about 1,000 employees, around 6% of its workforce, Variety reported. Those affected include chief content officer Bela Bajaria and head of film Dan Lin, whose firing was announced on Monday, hours before the opening reception at Rome's MIA Market, which closed on Friday, 23 October.
