Two-bedroom Prestwich bungalow rebuilt as four-bedroom family home

A two-bedroom bungalow in Prestwich, a town near Manchester in north-west England, has been rebuilt as a four-bedroom home. Design practice Loader Monteith added a rear brick extension and a dormer-roofed upper floor after reorganising the 69-square-metre original, the design website Dezeen reported on 23 October 2026. The clients, Matt and Angie Maurer, did much of the construction themselves.
