Comcast Expects NBCUniversal Split from Broadband Business by Mid-2027

Comcast expects to separate NBCUniversal from its broadband, pay-TV and wireless business by mid-2027, according to its third-quarter earnings call, the quarterly results briefing for analysts. Mike Cavanagh, Comcast co-chief executive, will run the stand-alone NBCUniversal. The split is still a plan, and Comcast has not said what it means for shows or schedules.
