Selfridges builds its Christmas season around world cities

Selfridges, the London department store, runs "Christmas and the City" across its London, Manchester and Birmingham stores and selfridges.com. Its 12 Oxford Street windows show scenes from Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Lagos, New York City, Tokyo and Paris, plus an imaginary Vice City. Chief executive André Maeder said the theme celebrates cities real and imagined.
