Warp Sciences Trains Lab Robots on Chemists' Bench Work

Warp Sciences, an AI startup founded by former OpenAI science lead Kevin Weil, is teaching robots to carry out wet-lab drug discovery tasks. Human chemists wear cameras and sensor gloves during bench work, and the recorded motion and sensor data train the robots in place of hand-written control code, TechCrunch reported on October 22, 2026.
