Hegseth's Staff, Not Curators, Moved Eisenhower Globe Before It Was Dropped
Staff for Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth moved a 1930s World War II floor globe used by Dwight D. Eisenhower, rather than the trained curators who usually handle historic objects, the Washington Post reported. Army officials said the aides tried to move it themselves and dropped it. The Pentagon says no one was hurt and the globe is being repaired.
