Stealth lab Flapping Airplanes claims humans are up to 1,000,000x more sample efficient than AI

Flapping Airplanes, a year-old stealth lab, claims humans are 100,000x to 1,000,000x more sample efficient than existing AI models, needing far fewer examples. It calls itself a "frontier data efficiency lab" and says it is not currently commercializing its work. Index and Lux co-led its $1 billion Series A at a reported $6 billion valuation, announced October 21, 2026.
