Lab Flapping Airplanes claims people learn from up to a million times fewer examples than AI

Flapping Airplanes, a year-old lab still under wraps, claims people need 100,000x to 1,000,000x fewer examples to learn than existing AI models. It calls itself a "frontier data efficiency lab" and says it is not currently selling its work. Index and Lux jointly led its $1 billion funding round at a reported $6 billion value, announced October 21, 2026.
