Only a Lieutenant Governor Candidate Attends Kerrville Flood Survivors' Meeting

Flood survivors in Kerrville, Texas, invited all Texas candidates for governor and US Senate to an October 2026 meeting in a community hall. Only Democrat Vikki Goodwin, a candidate for lieutenant governor, attended. Flash floods in Kerrville in 2025 killed 136 people.
