Josh Acheampong, 20, is now a regular starter for Chelsea under Xabi Alonso

Josh Acheampong has started six of Chelsea's last nine matches and played 581 minutes under manager Xabi Alonso, BBC Sport reports. Only Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers, Levi Colwill and Maxence Lacroix have played more. The 20-year-old centre-back, a defender in the middle of the back line, has been at Chelsea since the Under-8s and is contracted until 2029.
