Former boyfriend Cody Clayburn testified at a Los Angeles civil hearing on Tuesday 20 October that Gabbie Gonzalez told him a Bitcoin payment had been made in an alleged plot to kill Jack Avery. Gonzalez has pleaded not guilty to the criminal charges and did not testify, invoking her Fifth Amendment right. The hearing resumes Wednesday.
