Anthropic to Put 5% of Shares Into Public Benefit Fund

Anthropic said Oct. 18 it will create a public benefit fund, set up as a company it fully owns, and fund it with 5% of its shares, pending stockholder approval. The fund will back projects for the public good, with governance details to follow in coming months.
