Unions back Greens' plan to scrap training wage

The Council of Trade Unions says it backs the Green Party's policy to scrap the training wage. President Sandra Grey said the lower rate, $19.16 an hour compared with the $23.95 adult minimum, should go, but more investment and mentoring for apprentices was also needed.
