Labour pledges $7 million a year to get kids off screens
New Zealand's Labour Party would spend $7 million a year to get children off screens in its Election 2026 pitch. It says $3 million would continue Active Me - Kia Tū grants of up to $300 for sport costs, and $4 million would go to community after-school activities through the Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa fund.
