Hollywood publicist Gene Schwam dies at 96

Gene Schwam, Hollywood publicist for Elvis Presley and Julie Andrews, died at 96, Variety reported. He died Friday in Los Angeles after a brief illness. His clients also included Blake Edwards, Barbara Eden and Lenny Bruce. He co-founded Hanson & Schwam Public Relations in 1955.
