iPhone Duo Preorders Slip to January on Heavy Demand

U.S. buyers ordering Apple's first foldable phone, the $1,999 iPhone Duo, now face January 2027 shipping estimates. The phone, which folds open like a book, releases Oct. 23, with no 2026 delivery slots left. Apple called demand "nothing short of extraordinary" and said it is working to fill orders quickly.
