Catherine, Princess of Wales, wished England's men's, women's and wheelchair rugby league teams success ahead of the World Cup in Australia. The message, posted on the KensingtonRoyal X account, wished players, coaches and support staff good luck. She became patron of the Rugby Football League in February 2022.
