UAE agrees to fund anti-Houthi forces in Yemen again

The United Arab Emirates has agreed to resume paying southern Yemeni forces fighting the Iran-aligned Houthis, sources in Yemen say. Saudi Arabia would provide air cover under the deal. The forces, mainly the Giant Brigades, were previously funded by the UAE before it ended operations in Yemen in January.
