Replit CEO says Anthropic partnership is over

Replit CEO Amjad Masad said onstage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 that Replit, the coding platform, is no longer working with Anthropic, citing cost, partnership issues and performance. He added, 'I think ChatGPT is better now,' after Replit's August deal with OpenAI. A source familiar with the Anthropic work told TechCrunch anonymously it remains in place.
