Coding tool Replit says it stopped working with AI company Anthropic

Replit CEO Amjad Masad said onstage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 that Replit, which makes tools for building software, is no longer working with AI company Anthropic because of cost, partnership and performance. He said ChatGPT is better now, after an August deal with its maker OpenAI. An unnamed source familiar with the work told TechCrunch it continues.
