Sohrabi film reframes OPEC as vehicle for anti-imperialist solidarity

The Art Newspaper reports Iranian Canadian artist Sanaz Sohrabi directs An Incomplete Calendar, a 77-minute documentary built from archival footage and ephemera about OPEC. It reframes the oil cartel as an agent of anti-imperialist solidarity and a vehicle for peace through cultural exchange. Sohrabi researched it over six years in Tehran, Cairo, Beirut and Caracas.
