Hirschfield sues Drake, OVO Sound and Universal over 'Janice STFU'

Composer Aviel Calev Hirschfield sued Drake, OVO Sound and Universal Music Group for copyright infringement over “Janice STFU” on Oct. 16. The complaint alleges the chorus is “literally identical in melody and lyrics” to a demo he sent Drake’s team in early 2026.
