ECB ends routine Rooney Rule for England coaching hires

The England and Wales Cricket Board has stopped routinely using the Rooney Rule, the interview guarantee for ethnic minority coaching candidates, for England teams. It says recruitment has "evolved". The 2018 pledge covered men's, women's and disabled teams. The ECB confirmed not all 16 England-linked hires since 2024 used the rule.
