Sony Drops Planned Android 17 Update for Xperia 10 VI

Sony will not bring Android 17 to the Xperia 10 VI, stopping at two major updates instead of the promised three. The company confirmed the change in a UK support notice with an apology. The mid-2024 phone shipped with Android 14 and runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor.
