British food and drink exports to EU down by over a third since 2019

British food and drink exports to the European Union fell by more than a third in the year to July compared with the same period in 2019, NFU analysis of tax data found. The EU took 68% of UK farm and food exports last year, NFU president Tom Bradshaw said. Britain left the EU on Jan. 31, 2020.
