Police feared King's ownership of Marsh Farm could block search

Thames Valley Police told a judge Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor could argue Marsh Farm, his home on Sandringham owned by King Charles, needed separate royal permission to search. Court papers reported by Hello Magazine say officers feared seeking consent in advance would frustrate the search. He was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office and denies wrongdoing.
