Hiyd disc adds health sensors to any watch

Hiyd has introduced a 2.7-mm-thick, 7-gram disc that fits behind an existing watch to add health tracking. It measures heart rate, heart rate variability (variation between beats), sleep staging (light, deep and REM phases), movement, calorie burn and VO2 max estimates (a fitness capacity score), reported Oct. 14, 2026.
