Netflix fires content chief Bela Bajaria, names Peter Rice

Netflix fired chief content officer Bela Bajaria after 10 years, Variety reported. The company announced the exit and named former Walt Disney Company general entertainment chairman Peter Rice as successor on 15 October 2026, according to Reuters. Variety reported Bajaria oversaw original films, TV series and live events since promotion to the post in January 2023.
