Anthropic runs 26-billion-parameter Gemma 4 on 15 TV boxes

Anthropic researchers split Google's 26-billion-parameter Gemma 4 across 15 Android smart TV boxes. No single box could run it alone. Using sharded distributed inference, where each device handles part of the model, the cluster ran the full system without datacenter computers.
