Pope Leo Recovering on Track After Lung Tumor Surgery

Pope Leo was recovering as expected on Oct. 14, doctors said, one day after surgeons at Rome's Gemelli hospital removed a cancerous growth from his right lung. He walked in his room after breathing therapy, ate normally, and his blood test and chest X-ray were in the expected range. His appointments are cancelled through Oct. 20.
