Disney Bids $20 Million for Character.AI Assets

Disney has offered $20 million for parts of Character.AI, serving as the opening bidder for others to outbid. Character.AI filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, a court-overseen sale process, listing $50 million to $100 million in debts. The sale includes a license to use some of its intellectual property.
