Disney Offers $20 Million for Chatbot Maker

Disney has offered $20 million to buy parts of Character.AI, which makes chatbots people can talk to. The offer sets a starting price others can top. Character.AI sought court help to sell while owing $50 million to $100 million. The deal includes rights to use some of its technology.
